Last Updated: May 7, 2025

Please read these terms of use carefully before using KeyBot's services. By using our service, you agree to be bound by these terms.

By accessing or using KeyBot's services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use our services.

KeyBot operates in accordance with Discord's Developer Policy and Terms of Service. By using KeyBot within Discord, you agree to also abide by Discord's terms and community guidelines.

Disclaimer

KeyBot is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation of the service.

Third-Party Services

Some features of KeyBot may involve integrations with third-party services such as URL shorteners. We are not responsible for the content, practices, or availability of any third-party services, and use of such services is at your own discretion and risk.

Bot Functionality and Permissions

KeyBot is designed to assign temporary roles in Discord servers based on user interactions through shortened links. To function properly, the bot requires permission to manage roles and read certain configuration settings, but it does not access private messages or store sensitive Discord data.

User Authorization and OAuth2 Access

Some KeyBot features require users to authorize the application through Discord's OAuth2 system. By doing so, you grant KeyBot permission to access specific Discord account data (such as user ID, username, and avatar) and, in some cases, to add your account to certain Discord servers, including servers other than the one you initially authorized. This means that server owners can use authorized user tokens to add users to other servers they manage. However, they cannot view your personal information, such as usernames or account details. This process is strictly controlled by KeyBot, and server owners cannot access user data directly.

This data is used strictly to provide core functionality and is never sold or disclosed to third parties. You may revoke access at any time through Discord's authorized apps settings or by contacting our support team.

OAuth2 tokens may be securely stored to enable authorized features. These tokens are encrypted and used solely to perform permitted actions on your behalf.

Service Limitations and Modifications

We reserve the right to:

  • Modify or discontinue any part of our service
  • Remove any content that violates our terms
  • Suspend or terminate accounts for violations
  • Update these terms with reasonable notice
